Lunch at Sol Food

A favorite place to have an inexpensive lunch. The portions are so large that my husband and I usually share. Our favorite is Pollo al Horno. It comes with rice, beans, a delicious piece of marinated chicken, two pieces of garlic plantain (imagine tortilla plantains) and a lightly dressed salad of mixed greens. Check it out! They have two locations within a block of eachother in downtown San Rafael. One is a small take out with maybe 15 seats and the other is a much larger (and noisier) venue. Both are packed at lunchtime, but they are so organized that the food comes out within five minutes....no waiting, I swear!
